January 2011: Thom Saunders CEO of ZONE4, has been invited to be part of XMediaLab Sweden this week. The project 'Friendly Mission' in development with our Tasmanian Partner was chosen for the Lab and is one of only sixteen worldwide. XMediaLab: Sweden 2011 has chosen the world's most "interesting business and technological ideas to explore how to integrate and use positioning and proximity in the new era of digital media and games".

January 2011: ZONE4 is a finalist in the 2011 AIMIA Awards, in the Best Science, Health and Environment Category, for 'Aftermath' an elearning application produced for our client Queensland Health.
January 2011: The Two little Indians Website goes live.
November 2010: Thom presented at TEDx Brisbane on the 20th. He spoke onThe Good, The Bad and The Ugly of producing cross platform content.
September 2010: ZONE4 is the only Australian Organisation to be shortlisted for the JAPAN PRIZE 2010, International Contest for Education Media for "Aftermath" an e-learning application that we produced for our client Health QLD. Aftermath is an interactive narrative that combines film, gameplay and education to highlight the dangers of mixing illicit drugs.
August 2010: Thom was invited to speak on the panel for "Turning 360 Degrees:How to dip your toe into the Trans-media environment" at the Queensland Screen Industry Council, Market Now Forum.
March 2010: ZONE4 now has GITC (Government Information Technology Certification)
February 2010: Launch of Health Queensland AfterMath project. The E-Learning public kiosk has been launched there are 9 kiosk's located around Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast universities and TAFE colleges. The project uses interactive video.
October 2009: Games for health breakfast We were very lucky to have Stuart Smith PhD, MSc a Senior Research Officer from Falls and Balance Research Group, Prince of Wales Medical Research Institute give a presentation.
Stuart covered a lot of ground in his materials and had the audience talking and thinking about some opportunities for games to be an enabler of health service delivery.
We had guests from some of our key clients: Rio Tinto, Origin energy, Ramsay HealthCare and Health Queensland.
RECENT AWARD:
Congratulations to all involved in the development of the Interpreting Old Government House project for QUT and the Queensland State government. The project received a GOLD award from the Governor's Heritage Award for Excellence in Heritage Conservation Works and Action. Jeff Jones, Joti Carroll, Sean Gobi and Thom Saunders worked together to produce the project.
