Queensland Holidays

ZONE4 has worked with Tourism Queensland to design and build websites and technology demos. The major project produced for Tourism Queensland was a redesign of the main consumer destination information portal. The new site was required to maximize the thousands of pieces of media from individual suppliers of Tourist services in Queensland. Another core project was a Queensland Tourist services map. Tourism Queensland initially asked for proposals from companies around Australia interested in redesigning the Queensland Holidays website. ZONE4 was included in a shortlist of companies contracted to produce initial website interface and visual concepts. Two companies were selected to build "Demo" sites for focus group testing. Our version of the site was praised by the focus groups for its clarity professionalism and overall appeal. The focus groups were in each capital city on the east coast and co-ordinated by a "user testing" company who also recommended the ZONE4 concept. ZONE4 was selected to further refine our interface concepts into the template designs for the website including maps and seventeen region pages. We worked with a representative from each region to create a template representing their region.
