QUT Old Gov. House

Thom Saunders worked with QUT to design the “serious game” for the Virtual Old Government House. It is located in the Old Government House on the grounds of QUT Gardens Point. The installation uses a curved screen and three projectors to display an interactive virtual model of the House. Visitors, using a joystick controller, are able to move through the House navigating various rooms gaining a sense of the interior furnishings

AWARD: The project received a GOLD award from the Governor’s Heritage Award for Excellence in Heritage Conservation Works and Action.
