3D Model Data Interface

We took an architects 3D model of a sustainable house and produced a game that allowed the user to explore the house, learning about the environmentally friendly materials, fixtures and fittings as they moved around the house.

The 3D house model was used as the interface to link product and service data to the various elements within the house. As the user moved from room to room they were presented with details, links and additional information about the products. This model of visualisation is the same as using a map or a graphical interface, it provides a solution to the issue of bulk data and its presentation to an audience who is not necessarily aware of the complexities of the data behind the application.
